Kowloon is the densely packed peninsula facing Hong Kong Island across Victoria Harbour — and gives, many would argue, the better view of the two, looking back at the Island's skyline rather than standing inside it.

New Kowloon

Further north and less touristed, covering areas like Kowloon City — known for its concentration of Thai and Chiu Chow restaurants, a legacy of the old Kai Tak airport community.
