Tsim Sha Tsui, up close

Tsim Sha Tsui occupies the southern tip of the Kowloon peninsula, and its harbourfront gives what many consider the single best view of Hong Kong — the Island's skyline seen whole, rather than experienced from inside it.

The waterfront promenade

A long harbourside walkway runs past the Avenue of Stars, offering unobstructed skyline views and, most evenings, a light show projected from the buildings across the water.

Museums

The Hong Kong Museum of Art and the Hong Kong Space Museum both sit near the waterfront, giving an easy, air-conditioned break from the heat between sights.

Nathan Road and the markets

Inland, Nathan Road's shopping strip runs north into Jordan and Yau Ma Tei, with Temple Street's night market a short walk further on.
