Starting with this update, pages that name specific businesses are checked against current reporting rather than written from memory — restaurant and hotel details go stale faster than almost anything else on a travel site, and we'd rather be right than comprehensive.

What's new

• Food — a named dim sum restaurants page, covering Tim Ho Wan's long-running Michelin recognition and Lin Heung Tea House's 2026 move to Sheung Wan, both verified before publishing.
• Places — Cheung Chau, Lamma Island and Tai Po join the directory, bringing the total to sixteen districts.
• Do — a photogenic-spots guide (including how to visit Choi Hung Estate respectfully), and a day-trips guide to Macau, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.
