This update spreads across five departments rather than focusing on one or two — rounding out sections that had grown a little unevenly.

What's new

• Places — North Point & Quarry Bay, Kowloon City, and Tung Chung, bringing the total to thirteen districts.
• Do — museums & galleries, and nightlife & bars.
• Culture — architecture & skyline, and the contemporary arts scene.
• Food — a seafood guide, and Hong Kong's own "soy sauce Western" cuisine.

What's next

The site now has real breadth across every department. Next up: either a first translated language, or continuing to add depth wherever you tell us it's most needed.
