No business has ever paid, or will be able to pay, to be included in the Stay directory, the Food listings, or anywhere else on the site. Inclusion is based on our own editorial judgement of what's worth covering, checked against the standards on our editorial standards page.
If advertising is ever introduced
Should the site introduce advertising or affiliate links in future to support its running costs, any such content will be clearly labelled as advertising or sponsored, and kept visually and structurally separate from editorial recommendations — never presented as though it were an independent write-up.
Free stays, meals or products
Where we accept a complimentary stay, meal, or product specifically to review it, that will be disclosed on the relevant page. As of this update, no listings on the site have been produced this way.
